I recorded this 31 years ago with a stereo Superscope CS200 cassette recorder
onto Memorex blank tape. The tape shell had to be replaced before transfer.
The Morris Civic Auditorium was home to monthly, mostly sold-out shows by up-and-comers
in the now-called "classic rock" scene: Rush, Kiss, Queen, Kansas, and of course Aerosmith.
A combo of a so-so PA and acoustics of the old auditorium resulted in a boomy, slightly distant tape.
Also, the first third of this concert was on another cassette that has been lost.
I've seen an Aerosmith concert on this date attributed to Providence, RI, but this is
the correct date and venue. Either this "Providence" show has the wrong place or date.
The after-show announcements mention a J. Geils Band show on Halloween, "a week from Thursday,"
and this show was definitely on a Sunday.
